A good number left work at about half 3 (myself amongst them) and headed down to the beach for a bit of merriment before the evenings proceedings began. Madonna came down after her work finished and was there in time for Dinner.
Below are some photos from both the beach and the evening. Thankfully the weather was excellent.

One of the many stunning views on the Old Head

Steve and Kev. Steve is wearing his Cork Jersey which was a going away present from work.

Beach Volleyball

Some of the group on the beach

Steve and big Tim. Tims bigness is exaggerated in this photo, but he is still a big guy.

Beach Soccer

Cousin Tadhg talking into his new pint-phone

The group at the bar enjoying the sunshine

Kev and Niall "Chambo" Chamberlain. The headwear was their own choice, brought from home. You could see exactly the same attire most days in the office.

Paul, Steve and Paidi. Paul is the owner of Milo who we puppysat a few weeks ago, and Paidi is just an all round legend.

Steve and Vinnie (once the tallest chinese man in Ireland)

Cousin Tadhg, Paidi, Madonna, Steve and Alan
Same group plus big Tim.
Madonna doing the limbo. Madonna ended up coming second but was robbed of the title by some unscrupulous limboing from a competitor.
Donny and Alan
Paidi, Fiona and Steve. Fiona is Milo's other owner and also was generous enough to give us a lift home later that night.
Donny and her Cousin Tadhg.
All in all it was a brilliant day/evening, but with a tinge of sadness saying goodbye to a bunch of awesome folks that we have met through work. Every one of them will be missed, but also have contributed in a massive way to our experience over here.

Hey Steve and Madonna. Keep up the good work on the blog - I'll be making regular visits!! Sorry I missed out on yere gathering in Midleton yesterday - I could have skipped the game and waited for the replay! Your year flew so someone must have been having a good time! Ye're an awesome couple, and I'm genuinely delighted to have met and know ye both. Looking forward to yere stopover in October. Keep in touch. Small Tim, I guess (since Big Tim is taken!!)
